medcom.id, Jakarta: State electricity company PLN will gradually increase the electricity rate for some 900 VA customers next year.
"It will increase to Rp791 per kwh in January-February and then it will increase to Rp1,034 per kwh in March-April," said PLN trade division head Benny Marbun on Tuesday (11/8).
"It will increase to Rp1,352 per kwh in May-June," he continued.
He added that the group will be included in tariff adjustment mechanism in July. The electricity rate for the group will be adjusted monthly.
Previously, the government allocated lower electricity subsidy in the 2017 state budget.
