medcom.id, Jakarta: The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has announced that inflation reached 0.97 percent month-on-month (mom) and 3.49 percent year-on-year (yoy) last month.
"Inflation reached 0.97 percent," BPS head Suhariyanto said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
"It was quite high," he mentioned.
It reached 0.42 percent in the previous month. It reached 0.51 percent in the same period last year.
Financial authorities expect annual inflation will reach four percent plus minus one percent this year. However, several observers believe annual inflation could reach above four percent this year.
