medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian Central Statistics Agency (BPS) chairman Suhariyanto announced that the country recorded 0.02 percent deflation in March 2017.
As many as 42 cities experienced deflation. Other 33 cities experienced inflation.
"Low food prices neutralized higher electricity tariffs," Suhariyanto said in Jakarta on Monday.
"Low food prices also neutralized higher fuel prices," Suhariyanto stated.
Year-on-year inflation reached 3.61 percent. Calendar year inflation reached 1.19 percent.
