medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla was invited to attend the Boao Business Forum in Guangzhou Province, China. Kalla will deliver a keynote speech in the economic forum.
Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Xie Feng, mentioned that the visit to China is crucial, as Indonesia and China are at the highest level in conducting partnerships in various sectors, especially economy.
"Cooperations between Indonesia and China have expanded. So, I think the visit of [Indonesian] Vice President to China will bring Indonesia-China relations to improve," mentioned Feng at the Vice President's Office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta, Thursday (3/10/2016).
Feng is optimistic that the partnerships between Indonesia and China in several sectors such as economy, both in regional and global scales will also improve. Chinese government, he said, is anxious to receive the visit of VP Kalla to China, March 23,2016.
Boao Business Forum, Feng explained, is an important forum discussing the economic developments of Asia Pacific. Kalla will be able to introduce Indonesia's commitment to the economic development of Asia Pacific.
"I think the Vice President's visit to Boao Forum will become a good opportunity for Indonesia to establish partnerships with other Asia Pacific nations," he said.
Aside from attending the Boao Business Forum, Kalla will also visit the Guangzhou Province, China. In his visit, Kalla is to meet with China's political elites.
"It is an opportunity to discuss the expansion of Indonesia and China's partnerships," concluded Feng.
