medcom.id, Bekasi: Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said will visit Iran to discuss energy cooperation with the country.
Sudirman mentioned he will discuss, among others, condensate supplies from Iran for Pertamina's refineries.
"The important issue is supply of condensate and LPG for Pertamina. I hope the contract could be signed," stated Sudirman in Bekasi, Thursday (3/3/2016).
The visit is a follow up for previous discussion held when Iranian delegation came to Indonesia last month.
Pertamina's president director Dwi Soetjipto mentioned he is preparing memorandum of understanding for cooperation in Iran. Dwi revealed Iran will supply condensate in large number for Pertamina's refineries.
"They have great capability. It will be for TPPI, Cilacap and Balongan (refineries)," Dwi concluded.
