Indian Ambassador: We Will Bring Huge Business to Indonesia

medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President India Mohammad Hamid Ansari will bring a group of businessmen in his three day visit to Indonesia, on November 1-4, 2015.
 
Ansari's arrival is hoped to open broader and larger cooperation chances between the two countries.
 
"There will be lots of businessman, dozens of companies, there will be many cooperations," said the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia, Gurjit Singh in the Indian Embassy, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (10/28/2015).

"We will come with large business and media to Indonesia," he mentioned.
 
Upon arrival in Jakarta, Ansari is to meet and conduct dialog with Vice President Jusuf Kalla, along with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi. The meeting with former Indonesian President and Chairman of Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, Megawati Soekarnoputri was also scheduled.
 
Also, Ansari is to visit the parliamentary building to conduct discussion with the Chairman of People's Consultative Council, Zulkifli Hasan and Chairman of Regional Representatives, Irman Gusman. In the first day, Ansari is to visit Istiqlal, the largest mosque in South East Asia, which has become the symbol of Indonesian rising.
 
Indian and Indonesian government is to sign several Memorandum of Understandings (MoU). The signing is to be conducted in between Ansari's visitation.
 
One of the MoUs is the Cooperarion of New and Renewable Energy.
 
"India and Indonesia's demand of energy are quite high. But we also need to think about the effect towards the climate change," mentioned Ambassador Singh.
 
So far, India has used oil fuel and coal in fulfilling the demands of energy from the state. Aside from Renewable Energy, an MoU on Cultural Exchange, Extradition Agreements and the Mutual Legal Agreements.
 
Ambassador Singh has stated that India is willing to open the broadest cooperation with Indonesia. It is because India thinks of Indonesia as the best friendly country in the South East Asia.
 
"The relationships between India and Indonesia are unparallelled to the relationships of other countires as we have many similar things in common," mentioned Singh.
