medcom.id, Jakarta: Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) has predicted minimum wage in the capital will increase to Rp3.4 million next year.
The current minimum wage is Rp3.1 milllion.
"Maybe Rp3.2 million or Rp3.4 million," said Ahok at City hall on Wednesday (10/19).
"We will follow the formula. The current minimum wage will be multiplied with inflation rate and economic growth rate," he continued.
He mentioned Jakarta will have low inflation rate this year. It will be around three percent.
