medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo is optimistic economic growth can reach 5.1-5.2 percent by the end of year.
Economic growth reached 5.02 percent in the third quarter of 2016. It reached 5.04 percent in January-September 2016.
"We should be optimistic," said Jokowi during the opening ceremony of the Indonesia Infrastructure Week in Jakarta on Wednesday (11/9).
"We still experience growth. Other countries face worse condition," he continued.
Previously, Vice President Jusuf Kalla said government spending will have higher growth in the fourth quarter. Government spending will boost growth next quarter.
