medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Archandra Tahar has prepared strategies to improve energy security in Indonesia.
One of the main problems faced by Archandra is declining oil production. He mentioned three things are needed to boost production.
"The keys to improve production are technology, accountability and top human resources," he told reporters after inauguration ceremony at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/27/2016).
He added that Indonesia should be careful when establishing energy cooperation or issue energy policies.
"Integrity is crucial so we can be equal with other countries," he stated.
Archandra is an offshore exploration expert. He previously worked in Houston, United States (US).
