medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah slightly increased against United States (US) dollar. According to Bloomberg data, on Tuesday (1/5/2016) this morning strengthened only 0.30 point to 13,943/USD.
Rupiah moved between Rp13,918-Rp13,944 this morning.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance data showed rupiah weakened 45 points or 0.32% to Rp13,945
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta in his analysis said rupiah has potential to strengthen today as government plans to lower fuel prices.
"Fuel prices cut and LPG prices cut could give positive sentiment," he said.
