medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sudirman Said mentioned the government will lower fuel prices in April.
Sudirman said the government will cut premium-type gasoline and diesel fuel prices. The decision is based on global oil prices and rupiah currency in the past three months.
"We see all aspects, It will be cut," said Sudirman at press conference, Jakarta, Friday (3/18/2016).
He explained currently his ministry is still calculating the new prices. "It is still being studied, On April, 1 we will have new prices," he added.
Currently premium is sold at Rp7,050 per liter while diesel fuel is at Rp5,650 per liter.
