medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo does not worry although United States (US) President-elect Donald Trump reportedly will not approve the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).
"It will be business as usual," said Jokowi in Jakarta on Thursday (11/24).
Jokowi expressed his intention to join TPP last year. He ordered his ministers to study the trade agreement.
"It will not affect us," he stated.
Trump won the US presidential election earlier this month. He will replace President Barack Obama next January.
The real estate tycoon promised protectionism policies during his campaign. He strongly criticized trade agreements such as NAFTA and TPP.
