medcom.id, Jakarta: The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ministry will appoint Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) governor from Indonesia.
"Yes, it is correct," said acting ESDM Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan at his office in Jakarta on Thursday (10/13).
Purbaya is an experienced economist. He will replace Widhyawan Prawiratmaja.
Indonesia rejoined OPEC last year, even though the country is a net-oil importer.
