medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia maintained the central bank's 7 Day Reverse Repo Rate at 4.25 percent in October 2017.
The deposit facility rate was maintained at 3.5 percent. Meanwhile, the lending facility rate was maintained at five percent.
The decision was mainly influenced by low inflation. It was also influenced by stable current account deficit.
"The decision hopefuly can strengthen banking industry. So, it then can boost financial system stability," Bank Indonesia's asssistant governor Dody Budi Waluyo said in Central Jakarta on Thursday afternoon.
The benchmark interest rate was slashed by 25 basis points to 4.25 percent last month. It was slashed by 25 basis points to 4.5 percent in the previous month.
