medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded that the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) depreciated by six points on Friday, January 20, 2016.
JISDOR reached Rp13,382 per dollar today. The benchmark currency rate reached Rp13,376 per dollar in the previous day.
US President-elect Donald Trump Will take the Oath of Office today. He then will give his first presidential speech.
"Hopefully his speech will not affect the rupiah," Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said.
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 44.64 points or 0.84 percent to 5,254.31 points. The transaction volume reached about 17.5 billion shares worth around Rp4.9 trillion. Moreover, 205 stocks fell, 93 stock rose and 119 stocks were stagnant.
