Jakarta Records Inflation of 0.4% in July 2017

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia's Jakarta Chapter recorded that the city's inflation rate reached 0.4 percent month-to month in July 2017.
 
"Indonesia's inflation rate reached 0.22 percent month-to-month in the same period." Bank Indonesia's Jakarta chapter head Doni Joewono said.
 
The year-on-year inflation reached 3.69 percent. Meanwhile, the year-to-date inflation reached 2.72 percent.

The inflation was mainly influenced by education and transportation princes. Moreover, the inflation was also affected by food and clothing prices.
 
"Air transportation fares increased by 13.12 percent. Rail transportation fares increased by 6.22 percent," he mentioned.
