medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo announced his 2017 budget plan in the annual state address in the parliament this afternoon.
The proposed 2017 budget assumes the economy will grow 5.3 percent in 2017. The economic growth target this year is 5.2 percent.
"The implementation of the economic policy packages hopefully can stimulate economic growth," said Jokowi, here, Tuesday (8/16/2016).
Meanwhile, the fiscal deficit in 2017 is expected to reach Rp332.8 trillion or 2.41 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
The total spending target is Rp2,070.5 trillion, while the total revenue target is Rp1,737.6 trillion. Furthermore, the tax revenue target is Rp1,495.9 trillion.
