Indonesia's Gini Ratio Reaches 0.393: BPS

medcom.id, Jakarta: The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) announced the country's gini ratio reached 0.393 in March 2017.
 
"The country's gini ratio reached 0.394 in September 2016," BPS chairman Suhariyanto said.
 
The gini ration in the urban areas reached 0.407 in March 2017. It reached 0.409 in September 2016.

The gini ratio in the village areas reached 0.320 in March 2017. It reached 0.316 in September 2016.
 
Yogyakarta was the province with the highest economic inequality in March 2017. The province's gini ratio was 0.432 in that month.
 
"The government should have a long term plan," Suhariyanto mentioned.
