Government Collected Rp21 Billion CPO Fund

medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesian government had managed to collect funds from crude palm oil (CPO) for businesspeople conducting palm product exports. At least within a day, the collection of CPO fund topped at Rp21 billion.
 
"It is proven to succeed. On the first day we were able to collect as much as Rp21 billion in fund," said the Director of Fund Distribution of the Public Services Agency (BLU) Danan Kusdiana, at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Office at Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/22/2015).
 
Although the system is not yet perfected and still in manual, Dadan conveyed the success of the fund collection is an effort to implement the application of 15 percent Biodiesel into Diesel fuel.

"So the system is running. It is not perfect yet, still manual," he stated.
 
As informed, the government had established a public service agency (BLU) named as the Management Board of Palm Plantation Funds (BPDP Sawit), which has the task of collecting fund for the export of Palm products or CPO. The fee is applied to every CPO export as much as US$50 per ton, including the variant of CPO sub-products starting from US$10 to US$40 per ton. (EPS)
