medcom.id, Jakarta: According to Bloomberg, rupiah opened at Rp13,296 per United States (US) dollar on Wednesday (3/2/2016), stronger than its previous position at Rp13,346/USD.
Rupiah then strengthened further 33 points or 0.25 percent to Rp13,131/USD. The currency moved between Rp13,296-Rp13,319/USD this morning.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,320/USD.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta predicted rupiah will continue to rise today following the decline of US dollar. "Rising oil prices also boost rupiah," he concluded.
