medcom.id, Jakarta: Industry Minister Airlangga Hartarto said the current government wants to achieve equal economic development in Indonesia.
"The current government supports industrial development in outside Java," said Airlangga during a press conference at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Tuesday (10/25).
He mentioned there are 73 industrial estates in the country. Several industrial estates are in outside Java.
The government is constructing industrial estates in South Sumatra, West Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, West Papua and other regions.
"It is one of the strategies to achieve equal economic development," he stated.
