medcom.id, Jakarta: Deputy chairman of Creative Economy Board (Bekraf) Ricky Pesik revealed the government is still formulating regulations for e-commerce sector in Indonesia.
"Bekraf are currently assisting the process so e-commerce industry could be developed in Indonesia," said Ricky, Jakarta, Monday (5/16/2016).
Ricky explained the new regulations should not clash with the existing laws. Therefore, thorough coordination between government agencies is needed.
"The new regulations must also go through studies and reviews," he continued.
He revealed that the government currently prioritize new regulation on payment gateway. Bekraf is cooperating with Bank Indonesia (BI) and other financial agencies.
