medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesia needs Rp4,900 trillion for Infrastructure development. About Rp1,500 trillion comes from the state budget, while the remaining Rp3,400 is expected to come from private sector.
"From where is the money? It is from all of you. We will gather the money to fund infrastructure development. With good infrastructures, we can compete with other countries," said President Joko Widodo when promoting the tax amnesty policy in Medan, North Sumatra on Thursday (7/21/2016).
Jokowi state the government will talk openly with all businessmen. "How much is the interest rate abroad? How much is the interest rate here? we will be open," he continued.
The former Jakarta Governor urged businessmen to warmly welcome the tax amnesty policy. He reminded them that the program will end in March 2017.
"We should not lose the momentum," he concluded.
