Trade Ministry to Maintain Sugar Prices

medcom.id, Jakarta: The Trade Ministry has signed memorandum of understandings with sugar producers and sugar distributors.
 
"We will guard sugar supplies," said Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita at the Trade Ministry headquarters in Central Jakarta on Monday, January 16, 2017.
 
"We will maintain sugar prices," he continued.

Previously, President Joko widodo has vowed to lower sugar prices to Rp12,500 per kilogram.
 
"We will improve distribution," the Nasdem politician stated.
 
"We will use state-owned enterprises and regional government-owned enterprises," he concluded.
