medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah strengthened against United States (US) dollar this morning.
Quoting Bloomberg, Friday (1/22/2016) morning rupiah increased 60 points o.43 percent to Rp13,846 compared to its position yesterday. The currency moved between Rp13,8588-Rp13,883/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah rose 30 points or 0.22 percent.
Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) also strengthened this morning following the rise of American stock market.
JCI on Friday (1/22/2016) this morning strengthened 33.91 points or 0.8 percent to 4,448. LQ45 also rose 9.36 to 777 and JII rose 8.14 points to 589.
All sectors increased this morning led by infrastructure sector with 13.01 points.
Transaction volume reached 278.5 million shares worth Rp316.1 billion. 107 stocks increased, 26 stocks decreased and 40 stocks unchanged.
