medcom.id, Jakarta: The Financial Services Authority (OJK) is formulating several regulations to support fintech industry in the country.
"We are intensively studying the industry. We want to support the industry and protect the consumers," OJK deputy chairman Rahmat Waluyanto said in a written statement on Friday (10/7).
"We will issue several regulations soon," he continued.
He explained OJK plans to establish a fintech innovation hub and a regulatory sandbox to facilitate the stakeholders in the industry.
"The fintech innovation hub will be a development center and one-stop contact," he stated.
