medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah slightly weakened to Rp13,301 per United States (US) dollar on Wednesday (2/3/2016) afternoon compared to its position in the opening at Rp13,296/USD, according to Bloomberg. However, it was still stronger than yesterday's position at Rp13,346/USD
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,305/USD. Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) recorded the currency at Rp13,314/USD.
Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) surged 56.22 points or 1.2 percent to 4,836 on Wednesday (3/2/2016). LQ45 rose 11.2 points or 1.3 percent while Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) increased 11.07 points or 1.7 percent.
All sectors were in the green zone led by consumer goods sector with 44.42 points and manufacturing sector with 20.71 points.
Trade volume reached 3.4 billion shares worth Rp5.19 trillion. 201 stocks increased, 91 stocks decreased and 101 stocks unchanged.
