Jokowi Urges Closer Business Ties With Nigeria

medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo has urged closer economic relationship with, Africa region, especially Nigeria.
 
"The market is quite big," Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said at Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday.
 
The former Indonesian ambassador to the Netherlands traveled to Nigeria on June 3-6. She visited Lagos and Abuja.

The top diplomat held a bilateral meeting with Nigerian Foreign Minister Geoffrey Oenyama. She also paid a coutery call to Nigerian Acting President Yemi Osenbajo.
 
"They asked about our train carriages," Retno said.
 
"They requested capacity building trainings," Retno said.
