medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) is expected to maintain BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate at five percent this month.
Permata Bank economist Josua Pardede explained the central bank is still waiting the 2017 state budget draft. The House is scheduled to pass the 2017 state budget draft by the end of October.
"BI is still waiting confirmation about electricity subsidy," said Josua in Jakarta on Thursday (10/20).
The government plans to reduce electricity subsidy in 2017. The policy would affect inflation next year.
The central bank will conduct the Board of Governors Meeting on Thursday (10/20) afternoon.
