Meanwhile, Bloomberg recorded the rupiah depreciated 14 points to Rp13,460 per dollar.
The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) showed the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased 2.1 percent to 5,209 today.
Moreover, 247 stocks rose, 81 stocks fell and 104 stocks were unchanged.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said investors are waiting inflation data. "It will be announced on January 3," he stated.
