medcom.id, Jakarta: Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded inflation in November reached 0.21 percent. BPS recorded from 69 cities recorded inflation while other 13 cities recorded deflation.
"The highest inflation was recorded in Merauke with 2.35 percent while the lowest inflation was in ternate with 0.02 percent. Highest deflation happened in Pangkal Pinang with 1.02 percent," said BPS Deputy of Distribution and Services Statistics Sasmito Hadi Wibowo in press conference in Jakarta, Tuesday (12/1/2015)
Inflation from January to November 2015 reached 2.37 percent while inflation year on year reached 4.89 percent.
Sasmito added core inflation in November 2015 reached 0.16 % with core inflation year on year reached 4.77 percent.
This is the first time BPS recorded inflation after deflation happened in October and September 2015.
