medcom.id, Jakarta: The Belgium delegation is to conduct a visit related to its economic mission to Indonesia for eight days, on March 12-19, 2016. The representative of King Philip, Princess Astrid will visit Indonesia to lead the mission.
For six days, as many as 301 delegations are to visit three cities: Jakarta, Bogor and Bandung, as quoted by a press release related to the agenda in Jakarta, Thursday, March 10.
In the economic mission between Belgium and Indonesia, Princess Astrid will be accompanied by her ministers including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and European Issues, Didier Reynders.
Also included in the delegation are Vice President and Minister of Economy, Industry, Innovation and New Technology from Walonia Regional Administration; Vice President and Minister of High Education, Research and Media from the Federation of Walonia-Brussel, Jean-Claude Marcourt.
Next on the list is the Minister of Employment, Economy, Innovation and Sports for Flanders, Philippe Muyters; Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Pieter De Crem; as well as the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Investment for Brussel and the Minister of France Public Commission responsible for public services and health policies, Cécile Jodogne.
The economic mission of Belgium to Indonesia is the fifth, to be followed by 301 participants, whereas it is also the largest to be visiting Indonesia in an effort to strengthen the relations between both states.
Previously, the economic mission of Belgium to Indonesia was conducted in 1970, 1978, 1985 and 2008, all led by members of Belgium royalties.
