medcom.id, Jakarta: The United Kingdom (UK) Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy Richard Graham visits Indonesia to ensure economic relations between the two countries after Brexit.

"I want to follow up several projects between Indonesia and the UK," said Graham here on Tuesday (8/30/2016).

The two countries signed several cooperation agreements when President Joko Widodo went to the UK last April.

"I also want to discuss trade and investment relations with Indonesia after Brexit," he continued.

Graham is scheduled to meet senior government officials and prominent business figures in the country.

UK citizens voted to leave the European Union (EU) in a referendum on June 23. It forces the UK government to formulate new economic relationship with the EU and other countries.
