medcom.id, Jakarta: The government is formulating macroeconomic assumptions for 2017. Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro revealed economic growth next year is estimated at around 5.3-5.9 percent.
Meanwhile, rupiah currency rate is estimated at around Rp13,650-Rp13,900 per United States dollar.
"We consider several risks that could undermine (rupiah). Better economic fundamentals and the government's commitment to boost investment hopefully could make rupiah more stable," Bambang said during at the parliament building, Jakarta, Friday (5/20/2016).
Aside from rupiah stability, the government will also focus on food price stability. Inflation in 2017 is estimated at around four percent.
Furthermore, oil production is estimated at around 740-760 million barrels while gas production is estimated at around 1.05-1.15 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE).
"Indonesian crude price is estimated at around USD35-USD45 per barrel," he concluded.
