medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) has decided to lower BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate by 25 basis points to 4.75 percent.
"The Board of Governors Meeting lowered BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate from five percent to 4.75 percent," said BI spokesman Tirta Segara during a press conference in jakarta on Thursday (10/20).
The central bank also lowered deposit facility rate to four percent and lending facility rate to 5.5 percent.
The decision will be effective on Friday, October 21, 2016.
"We believe the decision can strengthen economic growth and maintain stability. It will help the government to boost the economy," he stated.
