medcom.id, Jakarta: PT Pertamina's annual general shareholders meeting has officially appointed Elia Massa Manik as the new president director.
He was previously the president director of PTPN III. He was earlier the president director of PT Elnusa.
"He has very strong backrgound," Pertamina commissoner Gatot Trihargo said in Jakarta on Thursday.
"He has very commendable track record," he continued.
PT Pertamina is a state-owned company. The oil and gas giant is owned by the State-Owned Enterprises Ministry.
PT Pertamina's shareholders meeting dismissed Dwi Soetjipto last month. The shareholders meeting cited leadership conflict.
