medcom.id, Jakarta: Indonesia to host the 12th World Economic Islamic Forum (WEIF) in Jakarta on August 2-4.
"It will be at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC)," said Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/20/2016).
Bambang explained WEIF is quite similar with World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland annually. However, it is more focus on Islamic finance.
"The theme for this year is decentralizing growth and empowering future business," he continued.
President Joko Widodo will be the keynote speaker. It will be attended by Malaysian Prime Minister and other world leaders.
