medcom.id, Jakarta: According to Bloomberg, rupiah opened at Rp13,443 per United States (US) dollar on Wednesday (2/24/2016), lower than its previous position at Rp13,427/USD.
Rupiah then weakened 22 points or 0.16 points to Rp13,449/USD. the currency moved between Rp13,439-Rp13,457/USD.
Meanwhile, Yahoo Finance showed rupiah declined 25 points or 0.19 percent to Rp13,460/USD.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst, Rangga Cipta, said rupiah was able to rise yesterday amid falling Asian currencies.
