medcom.id, Jakarta: Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati discussed 2018 draft budget plan during a plenary meeting at the Parliament Building Complex in Senayan, South Jakarta on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
The draft budget plan states that the national gross domestic product growth will reach around 5.4-6.1 percent in 2018.
"Stable inflation rate and higher employment rate will boost household consumption," Sri Mulyani said.
"Meanwhile, strong investment realization and higher job creation will increase productivity," she continued.
The draft budget plan also states that the rupiah currency rate will mbe around Rp13,500-Rp13,800 per United States dollar next year.
"The government will strengthen economic fundamentals," the former World Bank managing director said.
"On the other hand, the government will maintain export activities," she added.
The government conveyed the draft budget plan to the House of Representatives for the first time last month.
