medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia recorded that the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) declined 49 points to Rp13,485 per dollar on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg showed that the rupiah declined three points to Rp13,476 per dollar.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said high global oil prices and strong macroeconomic achievements could boost the rupiah.
"Budget deficit only reached around 2.64 percent," Rangga said.
