Electricity Tariffs Will Influence Inflation This Year: BI

medcom.id, Jakarta: Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Agus Martowardojo said administered prices will influence inflation movements in 2017.
 
"We will increase electricity tariffs and LPG prices," Agus said here on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
 
"We will monitor these items," Agus continued.

Previously, the Central Statistics Agency announced that inflation reached 0.42 percent month-to-month and 3.02 percent year-on-year in December 2016.
 
"Annual inflation reached 3.02 percent in 2016. It reached 3.35 percent in 2015," BPS chairman Suhariyanto said.
 
Inflation target in the 2017 State Budget is four plus minus one percent.
