medcom.id, Jakarta: The Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo) has recorded that domestic car sales reached 1,061,015 units last year.
"We fulfilled the domestic car sales target," Gaikindo secretary general Kukuh Kumara said recently.
Low multi purpose vehicle (LMPV) segment sold 249.931 units. Meanwhile, low cost green car (LCGC) segment sold 235.180 units.
Toyota sold 381.548 units. Honda sold 199.364 units. Meanwhile, Daihatsu sold 189.683 units.
"The economy will improve this year," Kukuh stated.
