medcom.id, Jakarta: The Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) depreciated to Rp13,118 per USD on Thursday (11/10).
The central bank recorded JISDOR at Rp13,084 per USD on Wednesday (11/9) and at Rp13,090 per USD on Tuesday (11/8).
Meanwhile, Bloomberg showed the rupiah weakened by 11 points to Rp13,138 per USD today.
Daewoo Securities Indonesia analyst Dang Maulida said Indonesia is ready to absorb external shocks. The country has strong economic fundamentals.
"Indonesian economy can face political instability in the United States," the analyst said.
