medcom.id, Jakarta: Bloomberg showed rupiah at Rp13,502 per United States (US) dollar on Thursday (2/18) afternoon, lower than its position in the opening at Rp13,469/USD.
Yahoo Finance showed rupiah at Rp13,500/USD. Meanwhile, Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (Jisdor) recorded the currency at Rp13,479/USD.
Decision from Bank Indonesia (BI) to lower its benchmark interest rate cannot support the stock market today. BI decided to cut its rate from 7.25 to 7 percent.
in contrary with rupiah, JCI strengthened 13.38 points today to 4,778.
