Govt Eyes Lower Food Prices Ahead of Lebaran Holidays

medcom.id, Jakarta: The President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo's administartion has set out policy measures to lower food prices ahead of Lebaran holidays.
 
Chicken meat prices have decreased since last week. Meanwhile, Red shallot prices have decreased over the past few days.
 
"Many food prices are declining," Trade Minister Enggartiasto said  on Wednesday.

The Trade Ministry has prepared price controls. Meanwhile, The National Logistics Agency (Bulog) has maintained food supplies.
 
"Generally, most food prices are stable," Bulog presidet director Djarot Kusumajakti said separately.
