medcom.id, Jakarta: Rupiah continued to weaken against United States (US) dollar in the second day of the week.
Quoting Bloomberg, Tuesday (12/29/2015), rupiah wast Rp13,698/USD. While according Yahoo Finance, rupiah was at Rp13,740. Jakarta Interbank Spot Dolar Rate (Jisdor)m rupiah was at Rp13,658.
In contrary with rupiah, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slightly strengthened in today's closing.
JCI Tuesday (12/29/2015) strengthened 12 points or 0.26 percent to 4,569 points. While, LQ45 index strengthened 2.43 points to 787.9 points and JII strengthened 2.26 points to 599 points.
Transaction volume reached 2.012 billion shares worth Rp2.1 trillion. 160 stocks increased, 131 stocks decreased and 87 stocks unchanged.
