medcom.id, Jakarta: Financial authorities have predicted higher foreign capital inflows in the second semester of 2017.
"It will happen," Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Martowardojo said in Jakarta on Monday.
Agus mentioned that higher foreign capital inflows will boost investment interests. Higher foreign capital inflows will increase foreign direct investments.
Agus added that higher foreign capital inflows will influence the rupiah. Higher foreign capital inflows will also affect the financial system.
Previously, the central bank has recorded that the foreign capital inflows reached USD5.33 billion in the first quarter of 2017.
