medcom.id, Jakarta: The Central Statistic Agency (BPS) announced this morning that inflation in June 2016 reached 0.66 percent.
Year-to-date inflation reached 1.06 percent, while year-on-year (yoy) inflation reached 3.45 percent.
BPS head Suryamin mentioned that core inflation reached 0.33 percent. Moreover, administered price component increased 0.72 percent and volatile componet increased 1.71 percent.
"The inflation was mainly caused by food prices during Ramadan," he said during a press conference at his office, Jakarta, on Friday (7/1/2016).
The highest inflation was recorded in Pangkal Pinang with 2.14 percent. In the other side, the lowest inflation was recorded in Padang with 0.1 percent.
