medcom.id, Jakarta: The government will build ten solar power plants in East Nusa Tenggara, Papua and West Papua this year.
"We will build four solar power plants in East Nusa Tenggara," Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry renewable energy director general Rida Mulyana said.
"We will build six solar power plants in Papua and West Papua," Rida continued.
The program will boost energy access in the regions. The project will provide electricity for 1,500 families.
"We will also build biogas power plants. We will cooperate with schools," Rida stated.
