medcom.id, Jakarta: Bloomberg showed rupiah opened at Rp13,325 per United States (US) dollar on Tuesday (2/15/2016).
Rupiah then increased to Rp13,313/USD. The currency closed at Rp13,378/USD yesterday.
Meanhwile, Yahoo Finance Showed rupiah rose to Rp13,320/USD.
Samuel Sekuritas analyst Rangga Cipta said US dollar weakened against most Asian currencies.
"Falling oil prices highly influences the weakening of US dollar," he mentioned.
